Meet Jess

Founder, Creative Director & Floral Designer

I’m Jess, the founder and floral designer behind Rose & Bloom. What began as a love of flowers has grown into a floral design studio where I get to combine everything I love creativity, beautiful spaces and bringing an idea to life.

I’ve always had an eye for the details: interiors, gardens, colour, old buildings and the way a space makes you feel. I’m also very partial to the finer things in life; beautiful hotels, incredible food, travel and those thoughtful little touches that turn something lovely into something truly special. That appreciation naturally finds its way into my work.

For me, getting to know my couples is just as important as the flowers themselves. You don’t need to know exactly what you want I’ll take the things you love, the ideas you’re drawn to and how you want your wedding to feel, and turn them into something completely individual to you.

Away from flowers, life is spent with my husband and our two boys. I’m happiest outdoors, somewhere by the water or in the countryside, travelling somewhere beautiful and inevitably finding inspiration along the way.

Creating beautiful things for life’s biggest moments really is the loveliest job in the world.

My Style

At Rose & Bloom, my style is simple wildly romantic, abundant and effortlessly beautiful.

Inspired by the natural landscapes of the Lake District, weathered stone walls, climbing roses and timeless English country gardens, I create florals that feel considered yet never overly arranged full of movement, texture and beautiful imperfection.

From intimate bouquets and flower-filled tables to sweeping meadows and large-scale installations, every element is designed as part of the wider setting. Flowers should transform a space, while still feeling as though they were always meant to be there.

Working across the UK and beyond, I particularly love the creative freedom of marquees, private homes and country estates, where flowers can completely shape the atmosphere and bring the surrounding landscape into the celebration.

Romantic. Artful. Abundant. And unmistakably yours.

“I’ve always believed the most beautiful things are the ones that make you feel something and that’s exactly what I want my flowers to do.”
